Balsam Firs are the most popular tree we sell. They are very similar to both Fraser Firs and Canaan Firs. A Balsam fir has a green glow that keeps your spirits warm throughout the holidays and has needles that are generally 3/4- 1 1/2 inches long. The branches are particularly strong and can hold up to several ornaments. It takes 9 to 10 years to produce a 6 - 7 foot tree. Balsam Firs are commonly found from northern Alberta to Labrador, southward to Pennsylvania, and also in West Virginia and Virginia. They are our most commonly bought tree due to its beauty and reasonable cost.
Balsam Fir Table-Tops
Height range: 3 - 5 Feet
Table Tops are miniature versions of Balsam Firs. They are great trees for small areas. They range between 3 and 5 1/2 Feet. They have strong branches that will hold up heavy ornaments. Needles are 2-ranked, flat and strong. Table Tops are easily transported since they fit in almost every car trunk.
