They are the largest trees in the United States, reaching a height of 80 feet. White Pines are commonly found from Newfoundland to Manitoba, through northern United States and eastern Ohio, and southward along the Appalachian Mountains to northern Georgia and South Carolina. It takes 6 to 8 years to produce a 6-foot tree. White Pines have very little aroma. Trunks are not always straight and are usually skinny.
